Originally from Leicestershire, Jennifer graduated from Loughborough College of Art and Design [now Loughborough University] with a BA Hons in Textiles and Embroidery. She then gained a Post Graduate Diploma in the History of Art and Design as well as a PGCE from Birmingham Polytechnic. Jennifer has exhibited nationally and internationally throughout the 1980s with 'The 62 Group' of Textile Artists. Since then exhibiting sporadically while raising her 4 children and working as Head of Art at Archway School Stroud. After leaving Teaching in 1997 to concentrate on her family, Jennifer has begun recently to make her way back into the art world. Her painting and Textiles illustrate the width of Jennifer's interest in and approach to visual stimuli, encompassing an eclectic mix of media and subject matter.
