Caroline Tate was born in Sheffield and has lived in Painswick since 1995. She works for the charity 'Art Shape' based in Gloucester which enables those who face barriers to the arts to engage and participate through a variety of arenas. Fascinated from an early age by myth, fairytale and legend, she has a love of the mysterious, offbeat and surreal, exploring a personal mythology through drawing, printmaking, photography and sculpture.
