Claire Nayegon was born in West London and is a graduate of London University, Goldsmiths College [Anthropology and Communications, 1994]. Claire trained in pottery and ceramics at Cheltenham College in the late 1990s and worked as a Community Artist teaching children and young adults in and out of the school setting for several years. The desire to repair a broken stained glass panel led her to re-train in stained glass at Stroud College 2006/7. Now a full time Stained Glass Artist, Claire designs and produces fun and colourful windows, door panels, transoms, miniature copperfoil panels, lamp and candle shades. Although Claire works mainly from her home based Studio in the woods on Painswick Beacon she also has a small Studio at the Painswick Centre in Bisley Street with easy access and free parking.
